Chachahal is a small village located in Banihal taluk of
Doda District. It lies to the north-west of
Doda - the district headquarters. The place, which abounds in natural beauty, heralds much archeological significance as well. It is also an excellent base for the trekking enthusiast.
Chachahal can be easily approached on the Udhampur – Anantnag road. The nearest railhead is at Jammu, served by the Northern Railways.
