Chabua is located in
Dibrugarh District of
Assam. It is about 25 km east of
Dibrugarh.
Chabua houses an Air Force base station. This airfield was a Second World War airbase of the allied forces. The area is also famous for tea plantations. The first tea estate in Assam was establised in 1837 at Chabua.
