Centre for Action Research and Training (CART) is an organization working in the field of agriculture and rehabilitation of poor and tribal sections in
Orissa. It is based at
Bhubaneswar.
The main objectives are to develop women’s empowerment and promote gender sensitization, adequately address the issues related to agriculture and forestry. It also provides preventive, rehabilitative and relief services and engages in the transfer of new technologies in agriculture and allied sector to rural areas. To achieve this objectives, the organization provides awareness among the displaced, women, tribal and rural communities through various community based programs and projects.
