CVN Kalari is a school imparting training in
Kalaripayattu, a popular martial art of
Kerala. It is situated at
Nadakkavu, a housing area towards north of
Kozhikode city. The school was founded by late Sri Narayanan Gurukkal in 1945.
As a part of Kalari system, ayurvedic treatments and massage are carried out here to cure the accidental injuries while training. Besides, they offer marma chikitsa, a treatment effective in treating the damages on the vital parts of the body.
CVN Kalari is the recipient of several honors including American Excellency Award for Achievement and Fr Vergottini Award. Nadakkavu can be easily accessed from Kozhikode Railway Station.
