Buttar, a small and peaceful village, is in
Moga District of
Punjab. It falls in between
Moga and Badhni Kalan, nearly four km north-west of Badhani towards Moga.
There are three
gurdwaras, several educational institutions, a grain market, banks, health centers and a veterinary hospital.
The nearest railhead is at Mehna (13 km).
