Bund Garden is an elegant garden, located on the right bank of the
Mula-Mutha River, in
Pune District of
Maharashtra. Presently it is known as Mahatma Gandhi Udyan.
The garden, which grabs the attention of the tourists with its abundant floras, is best suited for a good stress-free stroll. A cool evening boat ride in the back waters created by the bund on the river is a major fun. The bund was built by Sir Jamshedji Jeejeebhoy for providing water to the poor.
Bund Garden is about 3 km north-east of Pune Junction Railway Station.
