British Library at
Chandigarh is a branch of the country-wide British Council library network. Established in 2000, the library is situated on the Madhya Marg in Chandigarh town.
This well stoked library comes with around 15000 books on economics, engineering, information technology, law, management and medicine. Online access is another advantage to the subscribers of this library. Educational videos, audio cassettes, CDs, children's books, periodicals and newspapers from UK are available.
British Library provides different types of membership schemes for individuals, young learners, families and NGOs. It is open from Monday to Saturday from 11:00 to 19:00 hrs.
