Brahmasthanam Temple

Brahmasthanam Temple is a highly revered shrine situated at Jnanabharathi, in Bangalore. Managed by Mata Amritanandamayi Math, it is the second Brahmasthanam temple in Karnataka, the other one being in Mysore.

Most noteworthy feature is that the main image of the temple is carved with four faces, in the 4 directions. The idol depicts the images of Shiva's Divine family -Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesh and a serpent (representing the Kundalini power, Lord Rahu and Lord Muruga).

Bangalore Cantonment Railway Station and Bangalore City Junction Railway Station are the convenient railheads to Brahmasthanam Temple.
