Brahmasree Puthumana Govindan Namboothiri is a renowned Thidampu Nritham Artist. He hails from the Puthumana Illam of
Kanhangad in
Kasargod District. His
guru was Brahmasree Madamana Sankaran Embranthiri. His debut performance was in 1979 at Sree Athiyampoor Subrahmanya Swamy Temple, during the Shashthi Uthsavam. He has performed the art, almost in all the temples of north Kerala. He follows a unique Thekkan style of the Thidampu Nritham. He was honored by many temples.
