Brahmanidih Caves are located in a picturesque locale amidst thick forests, just 4 km before the Hemgir station. A narrow alley leads to the cave and it is said that saints do come here for meditation periodically. There is an open rock shelter situated outside. Due to neglect and age the cave is in a dilapidated condition and the various stone structures are in the process of caving in.
