Brahma Kapal

Brahma Kapal is a flat platform located about three kilometers from Badrinath, on the banks of Alaknanda River. It is the place where Hindus pay homage to their deceased ancestors.

Mata Murty Temple dedicated to the mother of Lord Vishnu is on the right bank of the river. Sesh Netra Temple, Urvashi Temple and Charanpaduka are nearby.
