Bordoloni is a small village in
Dhemaji District of
Assam. It is surrounded by Gogamukh, Chauldhoa Baligaon and Dulangmukh in the west, Uriyamguri in the north, Machkhoa in the east and Chetiagaon in the south.
This remote village, situated to the west of Dhemaji, is a paradise of birds. Various species of rare birds like spot-billed pelican, white-bellied heron, lesser adjutant, greater adjutant, white-rumped vulture, slender-billed vulture, greater spotted eagle, swamp francolin and black-breasted parrotbill can be spotted in the unprotected grassland patches of the Brahmaputra valley.
Gogamukh, situated 10 km west, is the nearest town and railway station.
