Boitamari




Boitamari is a small village in Bongaigaon District. Around 27 km from the district headquarters of Bongaigaon, the total land area of Boitamari is 238 sq km, of which, 154 sq km is used for agricultural purposes.

Boitamari's Gopinath Temple is the main attraction. Tamranga, a natural lake in this village, is a beautiful picnic spot and a favorite haunt of migratory birds during winter. The Co-operative Spinning Mills Ltd is located here.

Bongaigaon Railway Station serves Boitamari.
