Boduathiri




Boduathiri is one of the villages in the Minicoy Island of Lakshadweep. The village has a Moopan or Bodukaka (head-man of the village) and Bodudatha (head-woman of the village). The internal organization of the village is headed by the Moopan. Mahl is the main language spoken. The village boat is known as Lanchi. The main activities of the people are processing fish, making copra and assisting in house construction.
