Bodo is a conical shaped bamboo basket made in
Assam. It is shaped using a molding process.
A cone made of brown paper, filled with sand, serves as a mold. It is positioned in an inverted manner so that the tip is at the bottom. The basket is woven around this cone taking its shape, with its mouth being larger than the bottom.
