Biswanath Hill is famous for its ancient monastery of Dignag, the Buddhist Logician and Philosopher. Besides tokens reminiscent of
Buddhism, there is also the archeological remains of a
Varaha image. A temple dedicated to Biswanath on the upper part of Biswanath Mundia Hill near Delanga, is also worth seeing.
The hill is one of the ideal bases for exploring the cultural history of Puri District. Delanga is 15 km from Sakhigopal. Sakhigopal is 22 km from Puri on the
National Highway 203.
