Bishop Cotton School (BCS) is located at
Shimla,
Himachal Pradesh. It was established on July 28, 1859 by Bishop George Edward Lynch Cotton. It is one of the oldest boarding schools in Asia. The school is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations. High quality classes are offered from I to XII standards. A special education centre is also available for the non-resident and mentally handicapped children of the Shimla town.
Apart from the normal study, various extra-curricular activities and clubs are also organized. The school also arranges various community based programs for the students and staffs.
