Established in 1865, Bishop Cotton Boys' School is one of the prime educational institutions in
Bangalore. It is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination,
New Delhi, and offers classes from LKG to XII. English is the medium of instruction.
Students of classes XI and XII have the options to select from two groups: science and commerce. The papers included in the science group are mathematics, physics, biology, electronics and computer science. Accountancy, economics, business mathematics and computer science are some of the commerce papers.
Special coaching is given for the students of classes X and XII to appear in the ICSE and ISC exams.
The school houses well appointed libraries, laboratories and canteen. Boarding and day school facilities are also available.
The academic year begins in June and ends in April.
