Birsinghpur is an old town and pilgrim center in the
Satna District of
Madhya Pradesh. It is around 30 km north of
Satna.
Major point of attraction here is the Birsinghpur Shiva Temple. For a curious tourist, the bauxite mines around Jaitwara and Birsinghpur are worth a visit.
