Bir Tikendrajit Park is among the major attractions situated in
Imphal, the capital city of
Manipur. Inside the park is a tall structure called
Shaheed Minar. The minar revives the memories of invincible spirit of Manipur martyrs, who sacrificed their lives while fighting against the British in 1891.
The War Cemetery, where soldiers of the allied army fighting in World War II lie buried, is located close to this park.
