The Bio Resource Centre is located in the Pitchandikulam ethno-medicinal forest in
Auroville. It is a natural education centre offering information about conservation, identification and the use of indigenous medical plants.
The centre has demonstration facilities, thematic gardens and a library. Exhibitions of photos, seeds, posters, herbarium sheets, raw rugs and traditional planting technologies are organized. Video documentaries are also produced.
