Bikramganj is located on
National Highway 30, which extends from
Sasaram to
Arra. This is one of the significant settlements in
Rohtas District of
Bihar.
The irrigation research station, at Bikramganj, is well known. Deo Markandey, famed for a temple of
Lord Vishnu and
Surya, is a pilgrim spot nearby.
Dinara (to the west), Dawath (to the north-west),
Nokha (to the south) and Karakat(to the south-east) are the nearby towns.
The nearest airport and railhead are
Gaya Airport and Sasaram Railway Station, on the Mughal Sarai-
Patna railway line.
