Bijanbari




Located at an altitude of about 760 m above sea level, Bijanbari is a tourist destination in Darjeeling District of West Bengal. It is around 25 km from Rimbik and 25 km from Ghoom. The journey offers excellent views and scenery, passing many mountain streams and uncultivated land.

The main attractions here are the tea estates. One can also trek to Relling (8 km), Singla Bazaar and Som Tea Estate from here. The Rangit River flows by this location. Pul Bazaar is 2 km away from Bijanbari.

Bijanbari can be approached by road from Darjeeling (38 km) via Ghoom. Accommodations are available in the nearby lodges. The nearest railway station is at Jalpaiguri.
