Bidri is a picturesque village situated near Manjhari of
West Singhbhum District, in
Jharkhand. Agriculture is the main occupation of the people here. Paddy and
maize are the main crops.
Places of tourist interest include a small lake, located on the outskirts of the village, and a hillock in the east. To the west of the lake, is the forest Dak Bungalow, which commands a fine scenic view. The Thakora Waterfall is about 6 km from the village.
The major town close to the village is Chaibasa, the administrative headquarters of the district.
