Bidhi Chand was originally a thief by profession. An accidental meeting with Guru Hargobind changed his life. He was advised by the guru to practice robbery for the benefit of the poor. He even adopted the Sikh religion and practiced his skills against the Mughals. He spent the rest of his life in the service of the guru. His boldness and courage earned him an immortal position among the Sikh heroes, who helped in establishing the Sikh religion.
