Bhesan

Bhesan, situated 30 km from Junagadh, is a taluk headquarters in Junagadh District of Gujarat. It is bounded by Bilkha (16 km) in the south, Chura (13 km) in the east and Ranpur (4 km) in the west. Junagadh Zoo, Rock Edicts of Ashoka, Uparkot Fort and the sacred Girnar Hill are the major attractions accessible from here. The world famous Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is about 85 km from Bhesan. Keshod Airport (50 km) and Visavadar Railway Station are the nearest access points.
