Bhelwa is a small town in the western part of
Banka District in
Bihar. It is 44 km north-west of
Banka.
Bhelwa is lies at an altitude of 531 ft above sea level, on the western banks of Badua River. Surabathan and Katoria are the neighboring towns. The fifteen day long Makara Sankranti mela held at Mandar Hill attracts thousands of people from far and near.
Patna Airport is the convenient airport. Bhelwa is served by Simultalla Railway Station, on the Jhajha -Jasidih rail route.
