Bhawan Dwadshi is an important festival celebrated at
Nahan in
Sirmaur District of
Himachal Pradesh.
The festival falls in the month of September. On this occasion, about 50 idols of various Hindu gods are taken in a procession along the street to the Jagannath Temple. The idols are ritually bathed in the Rani Taal. At midnight, these idols are brought back to their abode.
