Bhauapar is a small town situated in Gorakhpur District. It is 10 km south of Gorakhpur city. National Highway 29 passes through this town. It was the site of the fort and residence of the Sarnet Rajputs till the 14th century. Bansgaon, Unawal and Kauriram are the nearby places.
