Perched at an altitude of about 5,645 m, Bhanoti Peak is in
Bageshwar District of
Uttaranchal. The peak is in the
Kumaon Himalayas, near Sundardunga base camp. Scattered around Mrigthuni Peak are the Bhanoti Peak, Durga Kot, Tharkot and Tent Peak, together known as Simsaga range. It is a snow clad peak and is ideal for high altitude trekking.
