Bhandaria is located on the southern corner of
Garhwa District in
Jharkhand. This taluk headquarters town is around 60 km south of
Garhwa, the nearest major city.
The place is surrounded by Tattapani (17 km west),
Ramkanda (19 km north), Kutku (17 km east) and Bargarh (10 km south). The dense forest near this town is home to elephant, leopard, hyena, jackle, fox, dear, boar, rabbit, monkey and beer. Gursandhu Waterfall in Ranka Kalan is the nearby attraction.
