Bethany Colony Leprosy Association




Bethany Colony Leprosy Association is a rehabilitation centre for cured leprosy patients who have no one to take care. Based at Bapatla in Guntur District, this self run community has around 600 inmates presently.

It is a registered association which has many welfare and income generating schemes to meet its day to day activities. The association runs a weaving unit, a gem cutting unit and a plastic molding unit. There is a care center for aged and completely handicapped people. Products offered by the inmates of Bethany include neck purses, shopping bags, school bags, rucksacks, table cloths, aprons and hats.
