Bendekaayi Gojju




Bendekaayi Gojju is a vegetable dish of Karnataka and is a very fine combination of sweet, sour, salty and hot tastes. This dish of ladies fingers is cooked in tamarind juice and jaggery with chilli powder. It is also prepared with bitter gourd which is more popular and the dish is very similar to 'Kerala Ulli Theeyal'. The curry is eaten both with rice and chappati.
