Sirpur, around 25 km north, and Arang, 15 km west, are prominent tourist destinations in the state. Chandi Temple of Birkoni is another nearby attraction.
Nearest airport is at Raipur. Belsonda Railway Station is on the Raipur – Mahasamund rail route. National Highway 6 has its route near the town.
