Behali is a
taluk headquarters town in
Sonitpur District of
Assam. It is located at the foothills of Arunachal hills in the north and the Boroi River in the east. The tea garden, established in 1988 under the Majuli Tea Company, is the prime attraction.
Behali comprises of Borajuli, Bedeti and Behali divisions, which produce yellowish bright tea. The tea estate is noted for its green and beautiful garden with remarkable scenic beauty.
