Baut Bazar is situated in the Karbi Anglong District of Assam. It is located 20 km to the east of Sirtiso, 18 km to the south of Hang Habai, 19 km to the north of Psiar and 11 km to the west of Longku. Diphu, famous for Karbi art and culture, is easily accessible from here. The ancient town of Dabaka, situated to the north-east of Baitha Langso is another attraction.
