Batiagarh

Batiagarh is one of the prominent towns in Damoh District of Madhya Pradesh. This historic town was the erstwhile headquarters of the Khijis before the center of power was transferred to Damoh. Batiagarh is located about 40 km north of Damoh.

Nohta, Kundalpur, Bandakpur and Nidan Kund constitute interesting excursions outside the town.

Nearest airport is at Jabalpur. Damoh Railway Station serves Batiagarh.
