Bathu is a historic village located about 15 km west of
Nangal in
Una District. This village has earned sanctity by the visit of
Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, in 1700.
Tradition says that Guru held a discourse here with Baba Kaladhari, a direct descendant of Guru Nanak. Main attraction of Bathu is the Gurdwara Gurplah Patshahi Dasmi. The
Soan River flows through nearby. The
gurdwara, situated about 200 m east of Bathu, attracts a large number of Sikh devotees. It functions under the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee.
