Batauli Festival is an important festival of
Ho community in
West Singhbhum of
Jharkhand.
This festival comes after the Hero Festival. It is celebrated to bring fertility to the crops and a fowl is sacrificed by each cultivator. A wing of the fowl is placed in the fissure of a bamboo and struck up in the rice field after some rites.
