Bastille Day, annually celebrated on 14th July in
Pondicherry, boasts the Indo-French pageantry. On this particular day a parade hits the streets with war veterans’ singing the Marseillaise - the national anthem of France. The French flag can be seen flying alongside the India flag on many housetops.
