Basna

Basna is a taluk headquarters and prominent town in Mahasamund District of Chhattisgarh. It is around 75 km east of Mahasamund.

Saraipali, located 25 km east, is a major town in the district. Gomarda Wildlife Sanctuary and Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary are tourist destinations in the region.

Raipur Airport is the nearest airport. Mahasamund Railway Station is the nearest major railhead. National Highway 6 has its route through Basna.
