Basilous Mathew II College of Engineering is situated on the banks of
Sasthamkotta Lake at Muthupilakkad in
Kollam District,
Kerala. Spread over an area of around 65 acre, the college conducts undergraduate courses in the engineering disciplines of electronics, computer science, civil, mechanical, electrical and electronics. It has an advanced computer center, library and labs for the different disciplines. The college also organizes regular personality development programs.
The library has around 5000 books and the reading room provides facilities for 50 occupants at a time. A canteen, playground and separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are also available.
Sasthamkotta Railway Station, on the Kollam-Kayamkulam line, is the nearest railhead. Trivandrum International Airport is the closest airport.
