Barthana is a charming village near
Parampura in
Srinagar District. It lies at an altitude of about 5,127 ft above sea level and is just three kilometers from
Durabal.
Sharifabad lies in its western side and Baghwanpur towards the east. The northern and southern parts are bounded by Parampura and Arampura respectively.
Barthana is accessible from Srinagar and Durabal as buses ply frequently in this route.
