Barha Masjid is an 18th century mosque located in
Jaunpur,
Uttar Pradesh. It believed to have been built in the middle or later period of the
Mughal Empire.
The exceptional feature of the masjid is that the central entrance is not open and filled by tall midrib style wall. This entrance was meant for those people, who pray at the front garden.
Hindu style pillars are employed inside the prayer room.
