Bargang Tea Estate




Bargang Tea Estate has an area of tea plantation on 967 hectares of land. The estate is situated at Borgang village in Sonitpur District of Assam. It derives its name from an old villager named Bargam. There is a large pond here, which was dug in 1800 by an Ahom King, known as Ahompukri. On request, visitors can avail of the opportunity to see plucking and processing of tea.

The nearest railway station is at Nizbarganj, about 3 km away.
