Barath




Barath is a small village located about 8 km south-west of Pathankot, Gurdaspur District. This place is believed to have been sanctified by both Guru Arjan and Guru Hargobind.

Gurdwara Tap Asthan Baba Sri Chand Ji is the main attraction at Barath. Popularly known as Gurdwara Barath Sahib, this gurdwara draws a large number of Sikh devotees.

Amritsar International Airport is the nearest airport and Pathankot Railway Station is the major railhead nearby.
