Bankatwa

Situated on the Indo-Nepal border, Bankatwa is a rural township in Balrampur District at an elevation of 456 ft above mean sea level. It lies to the north of Balrampur and about 10 km from Gugauli Kalan.

To the south of Bankatwa lies Tulsipur, a place famous for the Devi Patan Siddha Peeth and Devi Patan Mela.

Balrampur Railway Station and Amausi Airport are the nearest railway station and airport.
