Banjari

Banjari is located at the south-western tip of Bihar, 13 km south-east of Sasaram in Rohtas District. This upcoming industrial town is on the banks of Son River, a major tributary of Ganges River.

Banjari is the house of Kalyanpur Cement Ltd, one of the important industries in the state.

Excursion to Rohtasgarh Fort, Tarachandi and Mundeshvari Stone Temple will be an interesting experience.

Nearest airport is at Gaya, approximately 100 km east.

Sasaram Railway Station, situated on the Mughal Sarai-Gaya railway route, serves this town.
