Established in 1868, Bangalore Club is one of the oldest clubs in India situated near the junction of Residency Road and Richmond Road in
Bangalore. The club, stands as a best tradition of English country clubs, was originally formed for the exclusive use of British troops stationed in the cantonment.
The main building houses a bar, a dining room, several ante-rooms and the Mysore room which is a dress lounge. The chambers have 38 beautifully furnished cottages and rooms. The dining hall serves a range of Indian, Chinese and colonial English food.
There are facilities such as squash courts, badminton courts, gymnasium, health club, billiards, table tennis, rummy and bridge room, and swimming pool. A library which consists of 20,000 fiction and non fiction books, and a cyber cafe are added attraction.
Temporary memberships are available for visitors. Member's guests are not permitted.
