Formerly called Bangalore Riders Club, Bangalore Amateur Riding Institute (BARI) was formed in 1955 by the members of the Bangalore Turf Club. It is one of the oldest riding schools in India and is set on the premises of the turf club, in the heart of
Bangalore. The institute specializes in training for races and show horses, offering coaching in dressage, show jumping and tent-pegging for both boys and girls. Classes are conducted year round except in August and September.
